A true distillation of ancient wisdom tips for modern lives, this unique self-help book uses the wisdom of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata to solve your everyday problems.

Beyond the story-line, something deeper is waiting to be discovered from these ancient texts. This book is an attempt to uncover the hidden layer of wealth that is cleverly packaged within the commonly known story lines.

Me thinks

I have had the privilege of reading both the previous books of the author HERE and enjoy his writings to the core. But with this book, he took me by surprise.

If you have not read his work till now, just to introduce you - his writings revolve around the mythological scriptures and the learning we gather from them. But in this book, whose title in itself is the question and the answer he brings all of our scriptures together and shows us how to use them to solve our day-to-day life issues.

We have always been told Bhagvad Gita holds the answers to all the questions of life provided you know how to look for them. This book brings forth those answers in an easy to recollect manner where it is a matter of flipping few pages for the reader to reach the necessary answer. Meditation is a form which is in a way communicating with your own self, deep within listening to your soul and letting the storm inside you quieten down. This book is like a guided meditation where he uses the scriptures and shows us how to use them to make our lives better.

What I have always enjoyed is the language of the author, it is easy to understand and follow especially when he is talking about things which are so deep and moving. It is through that simplicity that he leads us into the complexity of the thoughts. He retains our interest till the end with his witty descriptions and examples which leave us smiling in agreement for having either done something like that or witnessed someone else do that.

Overall a profound book, deep and mystical one that can change lives! Strongly recommended for one and all.

Foodie Verdict

This book is like chettinad vegetarian curry- full of traditional spices, delectable and aromatic, one that lingers on for long.
