"Don't use the phone. People are never ready to answer it. Use poetry." _ Jack Kerouac 'Thousand Unspoken Thoughts' brings together the collection of poetry of an amateur poet who uses words to see through the world. Prerna, though being an Advocate by profession believes that writing is where her heart lies. The collection is a passage through her mind, where innumerable dreams and aspirations, are brought down to ink. Her writing is not confined to any age group; hence, no censor certificate is required. Keeping that thought aside, she believes in the power of ink, and her poems stand as witness. "

Me thinks

After a long while I read a debut poet's collection and was mighty impressed with it!

When I read the name I was skeptical as I usually am of debut authors and poets. But this lovely lady knows how to charm her readers with beautiful words strung together to create magical poetry. This book is a collection of 50 poems and each one is a masterpiece. The most beautiful part about her book is that each of the poems are befitting examples of "slice of life" and hence make it thoroughly enjoyable. There is no love and longing in it, but there is depth and chaos of daily life in them.

A perfectly bite sized book that can brighten your weekend and at the most apt prize too! Grab it, to relive the beauty of poetry in those words.

Foodie Verdict

This book is like corn patties - perfectly spiced and fried to brighten up a rainy weekend afternoon!
