Me thinks

When the author approached me for a review with this book, my first reaction was WOW a mythology based novel and that too a trilogy. The cover definitely looks very enticing and that would be a great reason for one to pick up this book for reading.

For starters the plot was refreshingly different despite all the mythological books that are flooding the market these days. What struck me the most was the plot it carried a lot of magnetic charm within it as I read the blurb and yes the author did a splendid job in executing it to perfection with her powerful narration.

At times the story is too good, waiting to be told but lacks narration making a book fall flat. But here there was not a single dull moment where the author let the narration go loose. She held the reader's attention tightly in her words and didn't leave it long after the book got after. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Each and every character is so clearly defined and their portrayal is something that binds you to the book till the last page.

A strongly recommended book for mythology lovers. This one will leave you asking for more.

Foodie Verdict

This book is like creamy pumpkin pasta - creamy (rich in language), filling (fills your heart and mind with content of having read a good work) and delicious ( enjoyable).
