Tippi and Grace share everything—clothes, friends . . . even their body. Writing in free verse, Sarah Crossan tells the sensitive and moving story of conjoined twin sisters, which will find fans in readers of Gayle Forman, Jodi Picoult, and Jandy Nelson.

Tippi and Grace. Grace and Tippi. For them, it's normal to step into the same skirt. To hook their arms around each other for balance. To fall asleep listening to the other breathing. To share. And to keep some things private. Each of the sixteen-year-old girls has her own head, heart, and two arms, but at the belly, they join. And they are happy, never wanting to risk the dangerous separation surgery.

But the girls' body is beginning to fight against them. And Grace doesn't want to admit it. Not even to Tippi. How long can they hide from the truth—how long before they must face the most impossible choice of their lives?

Carnegie Medal–nominated author Sarah Crossan gives us a story about unbreakable bonds, hope, loss, and the lengths we will go to for the person we love most.

Me thinks

This is one book that will remain very special for me. And since the time I have finished it that is almost ten days from now I have not been able to write a review simply because everytime I sit down to write a review I become speechless. My mind goes blank as I am unable to find the right words to do justice to its beauty. It is very rarely that I have come across a book of this grandeur where I don't know what to talk about its mesmerizing nature. What do I write about something that is simply out of this world not only as a book for it is not just a book it's an experience in itself.

The story is about two conjoined twins who are on the threshold of teenage and the story is about their trials and tribulations in their attempt to lead a normal life. The beauty of the book is in its narration. Like they say there are some books which have their heart in the right place, this is one such book. It has a soul of its own and that is what makes it so special.

You are surely missing out on something extra-ordinary if you have missed out on reading this book! Grab this one now, irrespective of your age, genre preference and favourite authors this is one book that I can bet which will make your heart skip a beat atleast at one place and leave you moist eyed at the end of it. A strongly recommended read for each one of you for this is a beautiful reminder of the thing called life.

Foodie Verdict

This book is like Donuts Ice cream - rare, melting in the mouth with a taste that you will remember for a lifetime.
