Like a roller-coaster, relationships have their nauseating ups, downs, twists and turns... Sure, like a roller-coaster, relationships are also fun and exciting but what happens when the ride isn’t as smooth as you thought it would be? What do you do when you want to get off the ride but disengaging the safety harness is a lot harder than you thought? Or simply, what if you’re finding it difficult to get on a ride in the first place, especially when there isn’t a height restriction?

Unfortunately, relationships don’t come with perforated edges and Love, That Shit! (LTS) hopes to help you through the process of getting into, dealing with and even the aftermath of relationships. What sets LTS apart is its contemporary approach, aimed at enlightening while simultaneously, entertaining.'

Me thinks

A self help book on love, relationships and marriage this book surely sets your mind thinking as to what goes behind making those relationships work smoothly. There is no sure shot formula to success in anything and neither does the author promise this book to be one. But yes there are a lot of ways to make things work out and this book is just another way.

When I first received this book I half expected it to be like a sermon typically how a self help book is like. But I was in for a surprise as the author does not sound preachy at all here, he rather has made an attempt to touch a chord with the readers. Real like incidents with liberal doses of humour makes it a thoroughly enjoyable read compared to self help books that end up being preachy after a point.

Whatever stage you are in – thinking of a relationship, in a relationship or out of one just – this book is a must read for the level at which it connects with an individual is profound.

Foodie Verdict

This book is like marmalade - tangy and tasty.
